First of all, when you want to study Buddhism or Zen, you must give up worldly desires or you must realize that it is useless to seek for worldly desires. But it may be rather difficult to realize that it is foolish to seek for worldly desires. Sometime, people mix up religious way-seeking mind and worldly desires. By usual mind this kind of thing cannot be fulfilled.
